There was a tiny bit of water in the basement after a rain storm. The landscapers will create a long term solution soon but I added dirt near the house, put down tarps, and extended the gutters temporarily.

There is no overhang on the roof so rain falls directly into the ground near the house. The gutter extension was also short so water would pool near the house. We had some heavy rains after the improvements and it seems to work.
